Welcome to Magothy River Middle School Physical Education Program.
2009-2010
It is a wonderful thing to see all the smiling students back at Magothy. We are looking forward to an exciting year for students with some new curriculum activity choices, such as, 8th grade team sports, dare to dance, so you think you can dance and box scores.
You may contact me at mgmccormick@aacps.org , Mr. German at jgerman@aacps.org , or Mr. Prunesti at jprunesti@aacps.org . All 6th graders will buy their uniforms during P.E. class orientation. We have sized your child the best we can. Keep in mind your child is still growing. Shirts will shrink if washed in hot water and a hot dryer or you can hem them. Girls may want to roll up the waist band as well.
The shirt is $8:00 and the shorts are $8:00. You can make the check out to Magothy River Middle School. Sweatpants will also be on sale for 14.00. You may buy a uniform any time during the year. Students may wear any kind or color sweats for class.

~Meryl Brockway~
Health
All students will have health class during the school year. They will need a half inch three ring binder or folder with clips for those 15 classes.
. Students will be receiving a letter home with that information. The health information slip at the bottom of that letter does not have to be returned unless your child does not have permission to take the family life portion of health, which is approximately 6 of the health lessons. Students will be given alternative assignments for those classes.
