Forms Available

Students should practicing at home on a daily bases. 
The practice should include:
   Long tones and lip slurs for brass
   Scales   Use the new tuner to tune each note of the scale (Tune the first note by ajusting the instrument, tune the other notes by adjusting your embouchure). 
   The concert music.
   End with a fun song from your collection of music (last years songs, a song from a collections of tunes you purchased at the music store).

Parents, take the time to listen to your young musician.  They can earn minutes for their practice logs if you sit and listen them play.  Comments from you to them are welcome.

Practicing on your own is a very important part of learning to play an instrument.

Soon students will given very specific assignment from method books and the new theory book.  Take the time to help your child with the theory.  Some of the concepts are complex.
