Who is my Guidance Counselor?  If you're in the 6th grade, or you're in the 8th grade, and your last name starts with A - K, then you belong to me, Mrs. Brady.  If you're in the 7th grade, or you're in the 8th grade, and your last name starts with L - Z, then Mr. George is your counselor.

Who's that nice lady who sits at the desk in the Guidance Office?  That's Mrs. Bednar, the Guidance secretary, and she can help you out with many things.  As a matter of fact, it's good to tell her what your problem is, because often, she's the one who can fix it, and you might not need to wait for Mr. George or me at all!

How do I get in touch with my counselor?  Your teachers have Counselor Appointment  Request forms that you may fill out and drop off at the Guidance Office.  You may also get one in Guidance.  Also, you can call the school number, at 410-544-0926, or email us.

Why would I ask to see my counselor?  If you're having trouble in school with grades, other kids, or whatever, or, if you're having trouble outside school and you want to talk to someone about it, we're the people you ask to see.

Are there times I should ask to see my administrator instead?  Yes, if someone has threatened to hurt you, or has hurt you, or if you know that a student has broken a serious school rule, or other things that have to do discipline, sometimes your administrator can help you faster.  Just go to the main office.

What if I have an emergency?  Come down to the office, either office, right away and say that you have an emergency, and need to talk to someone right away.
