Grandparent/Special Person Day is on Wednesday, Nov. 25.  All visitors are welcome to visit classrooms from 9:30-11:00, followed by a reception in the auditorium from 11:00-11:30.  Our Thanksgiving Prayer Service will begin at 11:45 in church.  School will dismiss at 12:30 for Thanksgiving vacation.

We are collecting food for the St. Vincent de Paul Society now through Tuesday, Nov. 24.  Please see the flyer on the school website for a list of food items that are being collected.

Christmas cards for "Operation Welcome Home" are being collected again this year.  These cards will be given to soldiers who pass through BWI airport on their return from deployment overseas.  Please encourage your child to take time to write a note inside a Christmas card and sign it with first name only and St. John the Evangelist School, Severna Park, MD.  The students that went to the airport last year to deliver the cards had a wonderful time!

This year's Christmas Musical is "No Wonder!" and will be performed on Dec. 17.  The dress for 5th grade is a crew-neck, short-sleeved T-shirt (solid color of choice, logo-free), long blue jeans, white St. John regulation socks, and tennis shoes.  Jewelry is in accordance with St. John’s school uniform policy. If needed, a plain headband is worn; otherwise no head bows, and no hats.
