Calendar Remider
You can still join the Home School Association. Dues are $25, until Nov.6th., at which time the dues become $30.
I want to recommend that you talk to your child's doctor about receiving the flu shot this year. I also want to remind you that if your child has been sick wih a fever, vomiting or diarreah, Do Not send them into school until their fever has been normal for 24 hours; and stomach virus symptoms have not been present for 24 hours. When the children come in sick we DO NOT have anyplace to isolate them from the other children in the classroom. Please help us to not spread undue illnesses in our class.
I also want to remind you that the Pre-K 3 dismissal is 2:50. Please be on time! When there are only a couple of children still waiting after 3p.m., they become very upset and worried that no one is coming. Also there are some days when I have meetings after school and I will need to prepare for them. Now that we are dismissing at the Kindergarten/First Grade area, it becomes congested at 3:00, especially on rainy days.
Some of the children are wearing laced shoes and cannot keep them tied. The uniform says velcro shoes. Please have your child wear velcro fastening shoes.
-November 4 - Open House 9- 12:00. Tell your friends so they can come and see what Cardinal Shehan School has to offer.
-November 5- Fund raising pick-up in the gym Noon -6:00.
-November 8 - Open House 1-3 p.m. Tell your friends so they can come and see what Cardinal Shehan School has to offer.
-November 9 - Picture make-up Day
-November 17 and 19- Speech and Hearing Screening
-November 19- Home School Association Meeting 6:30
-November 20- Trimester 1 ends
-November 24- all CARES items due. Pre-k needs to bring in Jello.
-November 25- 12:20 dismissal for Pre-K3. There will be NO Child Care provided on this day. The children may bring in a light lunch to eat around our usual lunch time. There will be No hot lunch served.
-November 26 and 27- School is closed for Thanksgiving. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
-November 30- School Reopens
