Spelling Homework

Monday: 

Classwork:  Pretest

Homework:  Print words 1 - 7 neatly three times each on a sheet of notebook paper. (Use the correct heading on your paper.)

Tuesday:

Homework:  Print words 8 - 14 neatly three times each on a sheet of notebook paper.  (Use the correct heading on your paper.)

Wednesday:

Homework:  Print all 14 words neatly in alphabetical order (Use the correct heading on your paper.)

Thursday:

Homework:  Study

Friday:

Classwork:  Unit Test

Homework:  Get spelling test signed by a parent and return it to school on Monday morning.

Short Weeks:

On weeks with four days we will have a modified spelling routine.   If school is closed on Friday, the spelling test will be on Thursday.  In weeks with three or less days there will not be any spelling.

Handwriting and Spelling:

 Please recheck all of your work carefully and be neat.  ONLY proper nouns get a capital letter at the beginning of the word.   Common nouns should have ALL lower case letters.  An error in this will impact your spelling.

Math Homework

Homework is assigned every week night, except on Friday.  ALL quizzes and tests are to be signed by a parent and returned the following school day.
