All 8th graders will participate in a service learning project that supports the homeless men in our county. Students will be given information about the project through their Language Arts class this week. Each student will be told what he/she needs to donate- due Dec. 9th.

Students in both classes were given instructions (with a rubric)for the biography book report last Friday 11/6. The report is due on Tuesday Nov. 17th and will include the written report as well as the book cover.

Book Fair is in the Media Center this week. All classes will visit the fair Thursday to browse and then will purchase next Wednesday Nov. 4.
Canned Food drive is in high gear. Any student who brings a canned food item in to me by Friday will receive 5 bonus points towards this marking period's grade.
All classes checked out Biography books that the kids should be reading in the next two weeks. They will receive directions for the book report by the beginning of next week.
