b. Two heads are better than one.

Game

Traffic Jam

Object: Work together to get everyone in your team to switch places.

Setup:

Divide your M.A.P. group into two teams.

Place post it notes on the floor in a line for each team. Use one more post it than number of people you have in each team.

Have half of the people stand on one end of the line and half on the other, with the empty sheet in the middle (see drawing).

Rules:

Everyone must be on a paper at all times.

Only one person can move at a time.

You can only move to an open piece of paper.

You may not jump or go around anyone from your own team.

You can’t jump or go around two people at one time.

If any rules are broken, you must reset and restart the entire game.

The first team to get all their players to switch places wins.

Part V – Discussion

Was your team able to accomplish the goal? Why or why not?

How do you think your team worked together?

Did one person take a leadership role or did everyone contribute? Which method do you think would be more effective?

What did you like/dislike about this M.A.P. lesson? What could be improved in the future?

Part VI – Career Portfolios

Have a Great Lesson!!!
