  Thank You

My first thank you's go to all my formerlstudents who worked so hard in class learning how to be leaders and making a difference with their fellow students while they were here at Kent Island High School...You did make a difference and I thank you...

A Special Thanks to all of you who have made me feel very special...

Especially to:

Dr. Nancy Grasmick

I was proud to share the stage on October 8th, 2004 with our inspirational and innovative State Superintendent, Dr. Nancy Grasmick. She has provided exceptional leadership for the Maryland School system since 1991, relentlessly taking on the challenges of helping all children succeed. Dr. Grasmick's  passion and dedication for the 900,000 children all across Maryland in our public schools was obvious during her moving speech at the October 8th, Teacher of the Year Gala at Martin's West. Her intensity and drive to do everything within her power to make sure all children go as far as they can in life motivates me to want to work harder and do more...Thanks Dr. Grasmick

Thanks to Dr. Darla Strouse for all her hard work in making the M-TOTY one of the MSDE highlights of the year...She makes all of the teachers of the year feel like royalty...I couldn't begin to thank her for all she has done..
