Current 8th Grade Projects
In 8th grade students are encouraged to think and work more independently to create art work that reflects their personal views and interests. The topics that we cover are:
COMMUNICATION (Clay Masks)
VISUAL THINKING
WORKING FROM OBSERVATION
WORKING FROM ART (Pop Art)
PREVISUALIZATION
EXPERIMENTATION
SKETCHBOOKS:
All students are required to have a sketchbook or folder with blank white paper for art class. This will be graded on a regular basis and used daily. Unfortunatly sketchbooks will not be sold in class this year.
