Our first grade classes would like to participate in Scholastic's "See Saw Book Club." Each class will need one parent volunteer to place the order and distribute books. If your child's class has a parent volunteer, then each month, your child will bring home a booklist which will offer a wide selection of wonderful books at affordable prices.  If you wish to order any of the books, you will be asked to return the order form to school, with payment in an envelope marked with your child's name, by the designated date.  (If paying by check, please make it out to the "See Saw Book Club.")  A parent volunteer will then handle the orders, and books should arrive and be distributed in 2 to 3 weeks.

     Please note that you are under no obligation to make any purchases from the book club.  However, it is an excellent way to obtain quality literature at reasonable prices and can help encourage your child to be a successful and lifelong reader.  Also, our entire class will benefit from the program with points earned that can be used to obtain free books for our classroom library.  Thanks for your help!!!
